Guided Meditation
A space to become still, turn inward and reconnect.
Our attention is pulled in countless directions, our minds are rarely quiet and finding a moment to simply stop can sometimes feel like a challenge in itself.
Meditation offers us an opportunity to do just that.
It's an invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life, settle into the present moment and give ourselves permission to experience a little stillness.
Through guided meditation, we can begin to develop a greater awareness of our thoughts, our feelings and our relationship with ourselves. We can explore the imagination, work with visualisation and perhaps discover something about our inner world that we don't often make time to consider.
These individual sessions offer a dedicated space to explore meditation at your own pace, with guidance and support throughout.
Session duration: 75 minutes
Session fee: £66

There are many different approaches to meditation, and I don't believe there is one particular method that suits everyone.
Some sessions might focus on relaxation, grounding and quietening the mind. Others might explore mindfulness, guided visualisation, self-reflection or more spiritual themes.
Depending on your interests and intentions, we might explore imagery drawn from nature, work with particular thoughts or ideas, or use visualisation as a way of exploring the imagination and our inner experience.
We'll take some time to establish what you'd like from the session before beginning, allowing the meditation to be shaped around you.
Whether you're completely new to meditation or have an established practice, sessions are designed to meet you where you are.

I believe that many of the answers we spend our time searching for require us to first ask better questions.
One of the things I find particularly interesting about meditation is that it doesn't necessarily require us to do anything.
We're often so accustomed to thinking, planning, analysing and responding that simply sitting quietly with ourselves can feel quite unfamiliar.
There is no need to force the mind into silence, achieve a particular state or expect some extraordinary experience. Meditation isn't a test of concentration, and there isn't a right or wrong way to experience it.
Sometimes the value is simply in allowing ourselves to be present, without feeling the need to change or fix anything.
With practice, we can begin to develop a different relationship with our thoughts and experiences, learning to observe rather than automatically react, and finding moments of calm amid the busyness of everyday life.
Spiritual Coaching provides an opportunity to examine some of those ideas.
Drawing on philosophy, spirituality and contemplative practice, our conversations can help you develop a greater awareness of your own thinking, recognise patterns in your perspective and consider how you might approach life differently.
This isn't about adopting somebody else's philosophy or being encouraged towards a particular spiritual belief. It's about developing the confidence and understanding to explore your own.
-
For those with an interest in spirituality, meditation can also provide an opportunity to explore some of the deeper questions surrounding our inner world.
Through guided visualisation and contemplative practice, we might explore our sense of connection, the nature of consciousness, the symbolism of the natural world or our understanding of the spiritual self.
These experiences can be approached from a philosophical, imaginative or spiritual perspective, depending on your own interests and beliefs.
There are no prescribed beliefs or expectations. The intention is to provide an opportunity for personal exploration, rather than to tell you what an experience should mean.

Guided Meditation is for anyone who would like to make a little more space for themselves.
Perhaps you're looking for an opportunity to relax, develop a meditation practice or find some respite from the demands of everyday life.
You might be interested in exploring visualisation, mindfulness or the spiritual dimensions of meditation. Or perhaps you've always been curious about meditation but haven't quite known where to begin.
You don't need previous experience, any particular spiritual outlook or the ability to sit in complete silence.
All that's required is a willingness to give yourself some time and see where the experience takes you.

Each session lasts 75 minutes and is individually tailored.
We'll begin with a conversation about what you'd like to explore and establish a suitable intention for the session. This will be followed by a period of settling in, grounding and preparation before moving into the guided meditation itself.
There will also be time afterwards to return gently, reflect on the experience and share any thoughts or observations if you wish.
My approach draws on meditation, mindfulness, visualisation and contemplative practice, with an appreciation for the spiritual and philosophical traditions that have explored these practices for centuries.
You don't need to arrive with any expectations, and you certainly don't need to feel that you've achieved anything by the end.
Sometimes a little stillness is enough.
Give yourself permission to pause. To breathe. To be still.
