The Art of Being Still

£15.00

An evening of guided group meditation

We're often so caught up in the business of everyday life that we rarely give ourselves the opportunity to simply stop.

There's always something to think about, something to do or somewhere we need to be. Even when we have a little time to ourselves, our minds can be just as busy as ever.

But perhaps there's something to be said for doing nothing at all.

Join me for an evening exploring the art of being still. We'll spend a little time considering why stillness is important, before moving into a guided meditation designed to help us settle, switch off from the outside world and spend some time with ourselves.

There'll be no complicated techniques, no expectations and certainly no need to have any experience of meditation.

Just a little time away from the usual noise of life, in good company, with an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the experience.

The evening will include:

  • A short introduction and discussion around the theme of stillness.

  • Some gentle grounding and preparation.

  • A guided meditation.

  • Time afterwards for a cuppa, conversation and reflection.

Whether you've meditated for years or have never tried it before, you're very welcome.

Saturday 28 November 2026
7:00pm – 8:15pm

Tickets: £5 per person

Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is essential.

I look forward to welcoming you.

The Thinking Space – A place for deeper thought about the soul, the human condition and the mystery of being alive.
